WHEN FACTORY SUSPENSIONS NEED ENHANCEMENT
1. Factory spring suspensions are optimised for average conditions. Once the vehicle is fully loaded or eventually overloaded, suspension is not able to sustain its proper function any more.
2. In several cases additional equipment is installed on commercial vehicles (e.g.: crane, cooling unit, machines, motor home equipment, etc.) and vehicle suspension needs to be upgraded to avoid swag and sway.
3. Many vehicles are built with weak single (mono) leaf springs.
4. In many cases vehicles have no stabiliser bars that causes sway and body roll.

MAXI-LOAD® helper spring: the air spring alternative
An additional spring (so called hollow rubber spring) is installed between axle and vehicle frame. The helper spring works together with factory leaf spring as a complementary suspension (spring assistant). It works like an air spring providing the same spring characteristics. This solution has several advantages: 1. Easy and quick installation (30 min). 2. No air leak, maintenance free. 3. Progressive spring rate: no harsh contact with axle.
MAXI-LOAD® air spring
Helper air spring systems are recommended, if vehicle height has to be adjusted regularly. In such cases the main suspension component remains the leaf spring suspension and the helper air spring system supports the leaf spring suspension by taking certain load. Our comfort air spring systems contain all parts enabling the user to adjust vehicle height anytime based on vehicle load.
MAXI-LOAD® leaf spring reinforcing kit
In this case, additional, special spring leaves are assembled into/underneath the spring pack. This solution is recommended, if the vehicle is constantly under load (e.g. special equipment is constantly on the vehicle) and the vehicle is not used in empty condition. The reinforcing kit contains all necessary parts for assembly. Installation time is 2 - 4 hours. The installation requires certain knowledge and tools.
MAXI-LOAD® leaf spring lifting kit
Leaf spring lifting kits provide cost efficient solution, if vehicle has to be lifted even in empty condition. Or it might happen that the leaf spring lost its stiffness after some years, therefore the rear of the vehicle swags even with normal load. In this case the vehicle is lifted with an adjustable spacer that can be set to 20 mm, 40 mm or 60 mm according to preference. The corresponding longer U-Bolts are supplied in the kit.
MAXI-LOAD® helper coil spring
Many light commercial vehicles, especially below 3 tons total weight, have coil springs on the rear axle instead of leaf springs. In such cases a helper coil springs, also known as auxiliary springs or spring assisters can be mounted inside the original coil springs. They help the original springs to carry the total weight. Certain vehicle suspensions can not be upgraded this way; in such cases complete new reinforced coil spring sets can be supplied.
MAXI-LOAD® coil spring enhancer
TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) helper spring is installed into the coil spring. Advantages: 1. Easy installation without removing the wheels or coil spring. 2. Maintenance free. 3. Most cost efficient solution to upgrade a coil spring. 4. Can be used both on rear coil spring and front coil spring depending on vehicle. 5. Perfect complimentary solution for front coil springs, if rear suspension has been upgraded in any form.

Our enhancement solutions are the optimal complimentary products to factory springs, which is the most cost efficient concept for our Customers. However, in some cases, it's not possible to enhance factory suspensions due to special design restrictions; in such cases we offer complete new spring solution but still on affordable prices.

Whether it's spring steel, natural vulcanised rubber or TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), we use first class quality materials for all of our products. This way our products can collaborate perfectly with factory suspensions for a long-long time. We offer 3 - 5 years warranty to our suspension enhancement products depending on product category and application.
